“Order”

Nous avons de nouveaux colocataires depuis lundi dans notre belle maison.
2 argentins, qui ont décidé de nettoyer de fond en comble la maison… bizarre venant de deux mecs, m’enfin…

Bref, ce matin j’ai retrouvé un petit mot sur mon pain, mes fougasses et mes scones me demandant de ranger mon bordel de boulangerie (ah sacré frenchy, ça se goinfre de baguettes et de pâtisseries et ça laisse traîner le tout dans un coin de la cuisine).

Le truc, c’est que ce petit papier contenant 4 mots était bourré de fautes.

“Order this breads please”

“ORDER”… j’ai pas mal butté dessus je dois l’avouer. Parce que ORDER, ça veut dire “commander”. J’ai donc bien cru pendant 10 secondes qu’ils avaient le culot de me demander d’aller chercher le pain… ou que c’était une blague parce que y avait beaucoup trop de pains à leur goût.

Bon après j’ai pensé “français / latin” et par ORDER ils voulaient sûrement me demander de METTRE EN ORDRE mon bazar de mangeuse de baguette.

Bon et autre faute, le “breads” est au pluriel mais “this” est singulier…

Je ne vais donc pas me gêner pour leur enseigner un peu la langue de Shakespeare, parce que je suis comme ça moi. J’aime pas qu’on me reproche des trucs, na !

Nonobstant, je souligne le fait que mon anglais est maintenant au niveau “BON” parce que je peux corriger les petits mangeurs de tapas (ou je sais pas ce que mange un argentin).

We have new roommates since Monday in our lovely home.
2 Argentinians, who decided to thoroughly clean the house … really weird as it is coming from two guys, but anyway …

So, this morning I found a note on my bread, my focaccias and my scones, asking me to put my fucking bakery (Ha, terrible Frenchy, she’s stuffing herself with baguettes and pastries and she piles up her supplies into a corner of the kitchen).

The thing is that this note of four words was full of mistakes.

“Order this breads please”

“ORDER ” … I try to get it for a long time, I must say. So I really thought for 10 seconds, they had the nerve to ask me to go to the bakery and get some bread for them… or that it was a joke because there was too much bakery to their liking.

Well after I thought a little bit more “French / Latin” and by ORDER, they certainly wanted to ask me to PUT AWAY (“mettre en ordre” in french) my baguette-eater mess .

Other mistakes, ” breads ” is plural , but “this” is singular…

I’m going to teach them a little bit of the language of Shakespeare, because I am like that. I do not like being criticized , na!Nevertheless, I note that my English is now in a “GOOD” level because I can correct the small tapas-eater (or I do not know what they eat in Argentine).
